A great find here - thought I'd uploaded all my Holistic records. This one came out in 1995.
Four tracks of haunting electronic noises over heavy beats - lots of nice sinister bits and pieces here. Some of the noises sound like background music on Chris Morris' Jam. Very dubby, the dubbier younger cousin of Piranha Cuts I suppose.
I've always enjoyed a good run-out groove comment. On the B-side of this is "David Icke is our leader!" - hmmm...
My first post of nudity here - hairy snatch & armpits AND smoking a fag (maybe she should have taken a leaf out of Klart's book from below). If I was 15 again(!) the fly would be getting unzipped...
Right - that's me off to get shit together before the journey to Stereo to see the Fuck Buttons. Contemplating bootlegging it but dunno if I can be fucked with the hassle. See you down the front...

Various - Feelings Not Frequencies
Someone asked about more tracks by Projective Vision a while back, and I said that they'd only released two 12"s. I'd forgotten about the tracks on this compilation of Holistic stuff - one of the few CDs that surived my clearout.
Track 1 is exclusive to the CD, track 3 is the B-side to Close Encounter, and track 5 is the slightly renamed B-side of the mighty Apocalypse. I've previously posted a track from Titanic as well, so this is a nice wee collection of the criminally under-rated Holistic label...

2 - Thunderhead - Medevil
3 - Projective Vision - Equilibrium
4 - Titanic - Spaced Out Cow

Titanic - Ice Breaker
This was the first release on Holistic, when it was actually known as Abstract Recordings. You can hear the start of their sound beginning to develop (as previously uploaded here), but they're sticking to the more traditional 7 min track rather than the 15+ min of the two other tracks. A good Club 69 tune.
A great dark techno track that should ease away any painful memories of Russ Abbot...

Projective Vision - Close Encounter
The last 12" I put up by this lot seemed to go down pretty well, so here's its predecessor, also on Holistic Recordings from 1994. It's another beautifully produced piece of UK techno. I'd hate to use the word 'trance', but it does have that effect. A full 13 mins of pure class.

Projective Vision - Apocalypse
Fuck me I'd forgotten what a great tune this is. Released on the consistently good Holistic label in 1994, this pretty much sums up exactly what I was into at the time. A Rub-A-Dub @ Club 69 favourite from back in the day, and the guys from the label used to come up for head-to-head sets in the club, which is the basement of a curry house in Paisley. Mental. This record is actually dedicated to the Rub-A-Dub gang as well. Aww, bless.
